Ekfrassis is a new company of music producers, formed in Athens by a small group of young and active people who share their love for music. It specializes in promoting and supporting different forms of cultural and artistic expression in Greece. Through organizing various productions and using new means of technology, “Ekfrassis” target is to inform the public and to play a positive role in the spread and diffusion of civilization and particularly that of music.
Services
Ekfrassis specializes in offering organization and promotion services in various artistic activities. Specifically the company handles:
- Production of audio-visual material of the classical repertoire (cd's, dvd's etc)
- Special audio-visual productions
- Organization of classical music concerts
- Support of other music productions
- Organization of various types of musical concerts, shows and other cultural and artistic events
- Web design and hosting (sites, portals etc) for the promotion and spread of different cultural products (musical, artistic etc)
- Representation of artists in Greece and abroad
- Publication of books, magazines, leaflets, posters and similar materials concerning culture
Company's Experience
The company's members, before its formation, shared a wide spectrum of experience in their field. Indicatively, we are mentioning a few:
- Production of classical music concerts of the series Musical mornings at the Athenaeum.
- Organization of cultural events in the municipality of Philothei.
- Artistic direction, for 7 years, of musical events in Nea Makri.
- Radio shows production

Through its function the company has successfully organized the following artistic events:

- Production and organization of a series of concerts, from January to March 2005, called “Mondays in Dais”
- Production of the series of concerts “80 YEARS OF MANOS HATZIDAKIS”
- Production of a special dedication in Geneva “MANOS HATZIDAKIS 80 ANS”
- Production of the “1st International Festival in Aegina”
